Almost There: Hamilton On Cusp of R2 Triumph After 12-0 Win
The Hamilton Industrialists did not need a Herculean effort from starter Adam Pemberton, not with their offense scoring runs at will. They got one anyway, as the right-hander shut out the Toyohira Fubuki in the 12-0 Industrialists win. Pemberton threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball as Hamilton took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Pemberton, a native of Coventry, England, was dealing all game. He kept Toyohira hitters off-balance, while giving the Industrialists 7 quality innings. Pemberton threw 113 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7.

"I like easy wins," Pemberton told the Hamilton Bulletin. "And easy wins in the playoffs are even better."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Hamilton Grounds in Hamilton.
