Rollins Blasts Rodan, Missionaries Take Game 1, 8-4
The Provo Missionaries started the Championship in style today, winning on the road against the Kyoto Rodan at Kaiju Coliseum by a score of 8-4 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Missionaries left fielder Robby Rollins excelled. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Rollins hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Missionaries into the lead, 6-3.

"I felt good up there," said Rollins. "I saw the ball well."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Kaiju Coliseum in Kyoto.
