Clifton Win to Pull Even With Provo
The Clifton Dons and the Provo Missionaries will take the Ambassador's Cup to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Dons shut out the Missionaries 5-0 at Field of the Missionaries to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Clifton left-hander Ken Stewart did his part. He threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball.

Provo had the bases empty in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out, Dai Nam Chien came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he lined out. The score remained 1-0, Clifton. The Missionaries saw their comeback bid fail.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Field of the Missionaries in Provo.
