Orcas Pick Up 4-2 Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Ken Baldwin, Victoria beat Long Beach by the score of 4-2. Kyung-suk Kim recorded the save, his 2nd. The win lifts Victoria to a record of 2-3.
Victoria used a well-timed hit by Ethan Reid to capture the win. The first baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Orcas ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"It was a good effort all around," said Reid.
