Golden Sands Win, Perry goes 3-for-4
|
The Aberdeen Golden Sands turned back the Clifton Dons, 7-6, at Clifton Stadium. Randall Perry, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The loss lowers the Clifton record to 2-3.
With Aberdeen leading 5-4 in the top of the fifth, Perry hit a fastball from James MacQuistan for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Golden Sands ahead, 7-4.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Perry told the Aberdeen Gazette.
