Ambers Spoil Great Performance by Salgado
The Akron Ambers weathered an outstanding game by Beantown catcher César Salgado to topple the Browns, 9-7. Salgado was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Akron reliever Duane Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Santiago García took the loss. The loss lowers the Beantown record to 8-12.

Ron Lowery, who is tied for 8th in the AML in extra base hits with 10, helped out the Akron cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the center fielder was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
