Locomotives Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dons
The Leeds Locomotives did just enough to secure a victory over the Clifton Dons, 5-4, at Rhino Park. Nobody did more than first baseman Roberto López. Leeds reliever John Hansen picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Kyle Johnstone took the loss. Clifton is 10-16 after the defeat.

The Locomotives procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Sugimoto Ohayashi. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Ohayashi said, postgame.
