Parreira on Fire: 5-for-5 for Newport News
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Newport News's Christovão Parreira made it happen today against the Braggarts. Everything came together at the plate for the 27-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Anchormen to a 13-3 win at Anchormen Stadium.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Parreira said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Christovão Parreira hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
