Watson Gives Santo Domingo Goose Eggs
|
A masterful pitching performance carried the Chesapeake Bay Oysters to a 6-0 victory over Santo Domingo. Erik Watson held the Tourists scoreless in a complete-game effort.
He permitted 3 hits, had 4 strikeouts and allowed no walks.
"Watson was sharp," Tourists manager Wilton MacGregor said later. "We never did figure him out."
