Shisa Stick Sandgnats with 6-3 Loss
|
Juan Ramos impressed in the 6-3 Okinawa win over Crystal Lake. Ramos, who is a two-time All-Star, went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Earning his 1st save of the year was Vincente González. With the win, Okinawa lifts its record to 7-10.
Okinawa used a well-timed hit by Javier Aguilar to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Shisa ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
Ramos said his team "played with focus."
