The Beantown Browns picked up a win at Beantown Ballpark, knocking off the Eindhoven Electric, 4-3. Starting pitcher Sotatsu Kobayashi was a big reason why. Earning his 16th save for Beantown was Jesús Pérez. The Browns now have a record of 42-22.

Jun Shibata, who leads the AML in extra base hits with 36, helped out the Beantown cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a double.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Shibata. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
