Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Ambers
Ballpark of Chesapeake Bay was the site for Appalachian Mountain League action featuring the Chesapeake Bay Oysters and Akron Ambers.

The Akron Ambers topped the Chesapeake Bay Oysters, 8-7, in 13 innings. Akron designated hitter Wilson Seguillo, in particular, was impressive. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Ambers saw their record improve to 26-41.

Akron relied on the bat of Adolph Glotz to get the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Ambers ahead, 8-7. For the game, Glotz had 1 double and 1 home run in 7 at-bats.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Glotz, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
