Alleghenies Go Down to Defeat, 4-2

Scottish and West Virginia got after it at Watt Powell Field.
The Scottish Claymores took West Virginia pitcher Min-zhong Lou's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Watt Powell Field. The final score had Scottish getting past the Alleghenies, 4-2. Lou went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 6. Keiji Honda closed it out for his 4th save.
Lorenzo Castanieda had a critical at-bat with two out in the top of the seventh for Scottish. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Scottish in front, 4-2.
"It was a good effort all around," said Castanieda.
With the win, Scottish elevates its record to 14-4.
