The Clifton Dons picked up a win at Clifton Stadium, taking down the Newport News Anchormen, 4-2. Starting pitcher Poto LoschiLosurdo was a big reason why. LoschiLosurdo got the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. LoschiLosurdo allowed 2 runs. The Dons raised their record to 60-46.

Yoshi Sakai was 1 for 4 for Clifton. In the bottom of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 1-1, Sakai delivered for the Dons. His run-scoring ground out put Clifton on top, 2-1.

LoschiLosurdo told a Clifton Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
