The Akron Ambers got a superb performance from right fielder Lucas Fullerton, but the Beantown Browns still won the game, 8-4. Fullerton went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Yatsuhiro Murayama snagged the win in relief. In 1.1 innings, the right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits. He's now 3-1 on the season. The Browns saw their win-loss record go to 84-52. At the same time, the Ambers fell to 51-86.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Júlio Mendoza hit a double. The Browns went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mendoza told the Beantown Bulletin.
