Diamonds Saddle Reckoning with 6-5 Loss
|
The Delaware Diamonds topped the Rockville Reckoning, 6-5, in Atlantic Alliance action at Ballpark of Deleware. The game was highlighted by the performance of Delaware pitcher Tony Méndez. Adam Marshall recorded the save for Delaware, his 1st of the season. Delaware has a record of 4-3.
Xavier Palma made an early impact for Delaware when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Diamonds on top, 5-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Palma.
