Inverness left-hander Ienobu Ito pitched his team to victory over the Maine Lobsters at The Fortress at Inverness. The final score was 4-3. The winning pitcher was Ito, now 1-1. He tossed 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 9.
León Sánchez had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season put Inverness on top, 4-2.
Ito described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
