The Delaware Diamonds got a stellar performance from pitcher Masanobu Ozawa, who handcuffed the Youngstown offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Ballpark of Deleware. Ozawa, now 2-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 1, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Adam Marshall earned save number 5 this season.

Lucas van Hal had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Delaware. With the bases loaded and the Diamonds leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Delaware manager Francisco Escobar.

Delaware is off to a hot start at 11-5.
