Lobsters Reel Off Another Win
The Maine Lobsters defeated the Delaware Diamonds, 9-3, in Atlantic Alliance action at Ballpark of Maine. Maine pitcher Gunner Stay had a standout performance. The winning pitcher was Stay, now 2-2. He tossed 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7. Valentín Lepro closed the door for Maine, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Rubén Mercado made an early impact for Maine when he stroked his 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which came with two out in the bottom of the first, put the Lobsters on top, 4-0.

"Winning never gets old," said Lobsters manager Tsugahara Fujita.

The first-place Lobsters have won 9 straight games.
