The Maine Lobsters had to overcome a fine performance from Rockville pitcher Joshua Waterhouse to grab a 3-2 win at Ballpark of Maine. Waterhouse allowed 1 run over 7 innings. The Lobsters now have a record of 28-14.
In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 2-2, shortstop Ángel González won it for Maine. With runners on 1st and 3rd, González hit a 2-1 fastball from Tim Thomas for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said González.
