Rietkerk Paces Dykes to 6-0 Win
The first-place Den Bosch Dykes took on the Youngstown Thunder in front of a spirited crowd.

Karel Rietkerk was superb against Youngstown. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the ATAL in wins with 6, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Dykes victory. The score was 6-0. Den Bosch is now 40-23, while Youngstown is 34-29.

Rietkerk earned the win to move to 6-4. In his 8.2-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 11 and walking 0. The right-hander allowed the Thunder few scoring opportunities.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Rietkerk.
