The Rockville Reckoning beat the Youngstown Thunder, 8-4. Rockville pitcher and Hertford, North Carolina, native Lynn Gilbert led the way. Gilbert went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-6. The second-place Reckoning have a record of 56-45.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Reckoning had to cash in when they had the chance.
