The Rockville Reckoning got a sterling performance from pitcher Lynn Gilbert, but the Bowling Green Rebels still prevailed, 5-4. Gilbert threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. Bowling Green is now 49-58.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Bowling Green trailing 4-1, Baskin Flanhill hit a fastball from Lorenzo Hernández for a grand slam home run, giving the Rebels the walk-off win.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Flanhill said.
