The Maine Lobsters beat the Delaware Diamonds, 10-5, at Ballpark of Deleware. The Lobsters got a fine performance from center fielder Maxime Astier, who went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Maine starter Mike Wood was credited with the win after throwing 104 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-0.

Maine relied on the bat of Alan Chiesman to get the win. The first baseman produced a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Lobsters ahead, 5-0. For the game, Chiesman had 1 double and 1 home run in 2 at-bats.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Chiesman told the Maine Herald.
