Thunder Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to Castillos

Santurce Castillos starter Martin Krook was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Youngstown Thunder, 2-1. Santurce reliever Jong-yong Kim was credited with the win, to go to 5-4. Francisco Romo took the loss for Youngstown. Santurce has a record of 49-74, placing them last in the Atlantic Alliance Euro-Caribbean.
The outcome might have been different for Santurce, had it not been for Dick Bogers, the 20-year old first baseman . Bogers stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Santurce up, 2-1. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"I guess we'll all be a happy family for at least one day," said Bogers.
