Lobsters Lose to Thunder in Walk Off
The Youngstown Thunder had to overcome a good performance from Maine pitcher Mike Wood to claim a 1-0 win at Thunder Ballpark. Wood went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Youngstown reliever Francisco Romo picked up the win to move to 3-5. John Murphy suffered the loss. The Thunder now own a record of 50-79.

Youngstown won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and John Murphy on the mound for Maine, third baseman Yoshida Chikafuji hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Thunder fans to their feet.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Chikafuji. "And not try to do too much."
