Conditions were not ideal but Gatineau and Kumamoto were able to put their game in the books.
The Gatineau Balloonists picked up a win at Ballonists Ballpark, knocking off the Kumamoto Mothra, 4-0. Starting pitcher George Anderson played a key role in the triumph. With the win, Gatineau improves its record to 10-7.
The Balloonists got a big hit from catcher Alejandro Villa. In the bottom of the fifth, Villa pounded a bases-clearing double to left. His 1st double of the season put the Balloonists ahead, 3-0.
"The harder you work," said Villa, "the luckier you get."
