The Lodoss Spell Swords picked up a win at Forcelia Field, knocking off the Ikari Warriors, 3-2. Starting pitcher Ken Sánchez was a big reason why. In 6 innings, Sánchez surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. The loss has the Warriors at 13-10.
In the bottom of the fifth, Scott Marson delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Lodoss right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Spell Swords in front, 3-2.
Marson called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
