Industrialists Win at Sherwood Park, 5-1
|
Hamilton starter Adam Pemberton had a strong outing against the Sherwood Park Hoods at Hoods Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The second-place Industrialists now have a win-loss record of 33-18.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Andrew Lyle? The Hamilton right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Industrialists on top, 1-0. For the game, Lyle had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I had a good game plan," said Pemberton. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Robert Davis said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
