Júlio González had a good game, but he could not keep the Edmonton Mall Ratz from falling, 6-5, to the Medicine Hat Drillers at Medicine Hat Municipal Stadium. The Edmonton catcher was 3-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once in the loss. At 30-24, Medicine Hat is in second place in the Pacific Alliance Wild Rose.

Jorge Lorenzo was the walk-off hero for Medicine Hat. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Drillers catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
