Brampton and Laval duked it out and the Camels came out victorious.

Beniamino Buonaiuti was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Laval Islanders. The center fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Brampton Camels. Nacho Mesa earned the win for Brampton. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 4-6.

Brampton used a clutch hit from António Vélez to get the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Camels ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Buonaiuti told the Brampton Chronicle.

With the win, Brampton goes to 24-31, while the Islanders fall to 24-31.
