Rapid City rode a good effort from starter MacKenzie Henderson to beat the Nassau Vulcans at Vulcan Field. The final score was 3-1. Gerard Scott collected save number 1.

Kichisaburo Kudo did the little things right to help the team against the Vulcans. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Rapid City in front, 1-0.

"You score one run, you're not going to win," said Nassau skipper Toby Brown. "You can have three Koufaxes and three Drysdales, you're still not going to win."

The Vulcans have now dropped 6 straight.
