Wind Dancers Take Down Sandgnats, 4-0
|
Getting an impressive start from Dave Costello, Toyama beat Crystal Lake by the score of 4-0. With the win, Toyama goes to 17-22, while the Sandgnats fall to 22-17.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Castle of Cagliostro seemed to enjoy watching the Sovereign League action.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Toyama skipper Manobu Nagumo.
