Conditions were not ideal but Cheyenne and Drumright were able to put their game in the books.

The Cheyenne Frontier stopped the Drumright Tornadoes, 5-3, at Frontier Ballpark. The Frontier got a big game from Rheinhardt Heine, who went 2-3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fernando Álvarez got the win, improving to 4-7. He worked 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Earning the save was Wei-hong Dai. He's now cashed in 4 of 8 save opportunities.

Heine contributed a big hit, a 2-run triple, for Cheyenne in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Heine took a changeup from Julián Adkins and stroked the triple to right-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Frontier to leap in front, 2-1.
