Kingston Plays Big Role in Middle Bass Win
|
Middle Bass starter Morgan Kingston put a stranglehold on the Kingston offense. The right-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Vintners to a 4-1 win. Michael Johnson got credit for the save for Middle Bass. It was his 2nd of the year. The win gives Middle Bass a season record of 79-40.
Kingston, who dominated for Middle Bass, earned the victory to move to 16-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. Kingston batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
Kingston told a Middle Bass Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
