Crooners Take Down Battleships, 7-5
|
The 7-5 Hoboken win over Bismarck was due in large part to Dylan Brown. The Crooners shortstop went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. The second-place Crooners now have a win-loss record of 73-53.
It could have been a different outcome for Hoboken, had it not been for Inácio Bacelar, the 21-year old third baseman . Bacelar contributed a 2-run single in the top of the 13th inning to put Hoboken up, 7-5.
"Feels good to get the job done," Bacelar said after the game.
