San Luis Rio Colorado starter Marcos Segura put a stranglehold on the Ensenada offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Rapidos Blancos to a 2-1 win. San Luis Rio Colorado now has a record of 7-3.
Segura, a native of Nagua, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Ensenada hitters off-balance, while giving the Rapidos Blancos 7 quality innings. Segura threw 93 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 11.
"Marcos is tough when he's hitting his spots," said San Luis Rio Colorado manager Anthony Rodríguez.
