Maulers Hang 1-0 Loss on Trendsetters
|
The Manchester Maulers had to overcome a fine performance from New Orleans pitcher Joe Arnold to grab a 1-0 win at New Frontier Park. Arnold allowed 1 run over 9 innings. Dong-hyun Pak recorded his 11th save for Manchester. The win puts Manchester at 24-17 this season.
In the top of the first, Pablo Orocumojica pounced on a slider from Joe Arnold and hit a run-scoring double. It gave Manchester a quick 1-0 lead.
"Good to pick up this win," Orocumojica said.
