Underground Sneak Past Claymores, 3-2

In a tight contest at The Castle, the London Underground edged the Scottish Claymores by the score of 3-2. London designated hitter Giampaolo Eremitani, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Ikku Ohayashi picked up the save, his 1st. London, at 22-17, occupies third place in the Imperial League Trans Atlantic.
The Underground got a big boost from right fielder Eichiro Nakashima who had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth inning off Claymores hurler Carl Ford. It was his 30th RBI of the season and put London on top, 2-1.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said London manager Jorge Ornelas.
