Scottish designated hitter Kenkichi Daikawa contributed to his team's 6-3 win over the London Underground. Daikawa, who finished 3rd in the IL in slugging percentage with .600 last year, went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Claymores. The first-place Claymores raised their record to 26-16.
Rob Woodard helped his team take an early lead with a grand slam home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-0, Claymores.
"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Woodard said. "And the same is true when you lose."
