1-0 Loss to Pride Extends Central Florida Losing Streak
Penn State Grounds was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Penn State Pride starter Tsuginori Sato hurled his team past the Central Florida Wicked Witches, 1-0. Picking up the save was Tom Morrison, his 3rd.

The Pride got a big at-bat from third baseman Dave Nichols. For the game, Nichols was 2-3 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Penn State a 1-0 lead.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Sato said (again).

At 5-1, the Pride have played well so far.
