Klondikes Stick Unifiers with 5-2 Loss
The UCONN Klondikes picked up a win at Unifiers Ballpark, knocking off the Cincinnati Unifiers, 5-2. Starting pitcher David Rivas was a big reason why. Theodore McCann closed the door for UCONN, picking up his 1st save of the year. With the loss, Cincinnati sinks to 4-3.

Ánibal Sandoval, the 18-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sandoval contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put UCONN up, 2-0.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Sandoval told the UCONN Citizen.
