The UCONN Klondikes topped the Seton Hall Rampage by the score of 11-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Ed Corum. Corum hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Klondikes on the day. The loss drops Seton Hall to 3-7.
Corum made an early impact for UCONN when he stroked his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Klondikes on top, 10-0.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Seton Hall manager Leslie White. "We got flat-out beat."
