Archers Suffer 5-4 Setback
The Ohio State Scarlet Brutes beat the Iowa Archers, 5-4. Ohio State pitcher and Opelika, Alabama, native Mario Barajas led the way. Ohio State pitcher Artie McKee got the win. He's now 1-0. Clark Jones was tagged with the loss. With the win, Ohio State lifts its record to 4-6.

Ohio State got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Darwin González. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Scarlet Brutes ahead, 5-4. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"This was a good win," said González.
