Wicked Witches Lose to Palouse Knights in Walk Off
The Washington State Palouse Knights did just enough to sneak past the Central Florida Wicked Witches, 6-5, at Ballpark of Washington State. Washington State designated hitter Cipriano Sánchez, in particular, had a standout performance. Washington State reliever Jesús Solís picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Troy Stewart absorbed the loss. With the win, Washington State upped its record to 10-4.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Washington State trailing 5-3, Eric Moore jumped on a 2-1 fastball from Troy Stewart for a 3-run home run, sending the Palouse Knights to a walk-off win.

Sánchez told a Washington State Daily News reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
