The Marshall McConaugheys downed the Notre Dame Evangelists, 6-2. The hitting star was right fielder Skip Paul. Paul was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the McConaugheys. With the victory, the McConaugheys record now stands at 7-6.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Paul, who is the top prospect in the McConaugheys organization, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the McConaugheys into the lead, 5-2.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Paul said after the game.
