The Penn State Pride topped the Pittsburgh Cathedrals by the score of 12-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Arnold Picot. Picot went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Pride on the day. Penn State now has a 3-game win streak.

The Pride got an important contribution from center fielder José Ruíz, who in the top of the first knocked a 1-1 fastball into left for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Pride ahead, 5-0.

In comments to the Penn State Citizen, Ruíz insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
