Axe Win 3-2 Walk-Off

Axe Ballpark was the site of a tense game between the Michigan Red Dawns and Stanford Axe.
The Stanford Axe got a stellar performance from pitcher Júlio Cruz, who handcuffed the Michigan offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Axe Ballpark. Stanford reliever Dave Carter picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Will Orr absorbed the loss.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Stanford trailing 2-1, Fernando Ramírez jumped on a 0-1 fastball from Will Orr for a 2-run home run, sending the Axe to a walk-off win.
Cruz described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
The Axe, at 17-8, lead by one game in their division.
