Unifiers Improve to 15-10 with 6-4 Win
|
Unifiers center fielder Nick Wilson put his stamp on his team's 6-4 win over the UAB Dragons. Wilson was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times for Cincinnati in the contest. Martin McHutchen earned the save, his 7th. The Unifiers have now won 8 straight.
The Unifiers got a big at-bat from catcher Robin Nelson. For the game, Nelson went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Cincinnati manager Jesús Ávila.
