Ortega Helps Rampage Win, 11-5, with Pair of Homers
The Seton Hall Rampage beat the UAB Dragons, 11-5, at Alabama-Birmingham Grounds. Vicente Ortega, in particular, was impressive. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Pete MacPherson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 2-0. The 7th-place Rampage are now 12-16, the Dragons 9-19.

Seton Hall relied on the hitting of Patrick Copeland to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rampage on top, 3-2. For the game, Copeland had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Seton Hall manager Leslie White.
